Unofficial Guide for BoI is an Android application developed by Alpetra. This free program is designed to provide quick and comprehensive information about the Binding of Isaac game and all its DLCs, including Afterbirth, Afterbirth+, and Repentance. The app offers an advanced search feature with an aspect tag search, color sorting, and advanced filters by DLC. It also features a global search with descriptive search and the ability to search for what the object “looks like,” making it easier to find the item you are looking for.
The app also includes an item/trinket camera recognizer, which uses Machine Learning and has scored over 99% accuracy with a set of validation consisting of over 1000 screenshots and photos of items. The recognizer is optimized for BOI Repentance, which means that if you are using Afterbirth+, Afterbirth, or lower, it may not be able to recognize some of the items due to changes in Item and Trinket sprites. The guide provides comprehensive information about items, trinkets, cards and runes, pickups, achievements, pills, transformations, and item tags, with more sections coming in the next updates. Night mode support is also available.
